The Engadin Valley is one of our absolute favourite places in the whole world, and it offers an insurmountable amount of fun for everyone. Below are some of our favourite things to do.

Winter Sports

There’s no shortage of ways to enjoy the outdoors in St. Moritz.

You can ski or snowboard on the world-class slopes of Corviglia and Corvatsch (buy tickets here), or explore the scenic cross-country trails that wind through snowy forests and open fields. Check with your hotel as they may have an offer to include a ski-pass for a reduced rate.

For something more playful, try the toboggan run from Preda to Bergün.

For something a bit different, you can go ice skating on open-air rinks at the lake or the Kulm Country Club.

And if you're feeling brave, ride as a passenger down the legendary natural-ice Olympic Bob Run, an unforgettable experience.

Walking/Hiking/Running Adventures

Snowshoeing and winter hiking offer peaceful routes around Lake St. Moritz, while a run around the lake provides a flat, scenic loop with stunning mountain views.

Alternatively, a walk from either Celerina or St Moritz to Lej da Staz is an easy and magical route to a quiet frozen lake surrounded by trees.

For a longer adventure, take the scenic Morteratsch Glacier Trail, an easy winter walk leading you through a snowy valley to breath-taking views of the glacier, and a hidden ice cave.

Relaxation and Wellness

If you're looking to unwind and enjoy some relaxation, many hotels offer day spa access (e.g., Kulm, Badrutt’s Palace, Grace La Margna).

For a more affordable (yet still amazing option), check out Ovaverva a wonderful spa with indoor pools, saunas, and a gym.

Shopping and Cafes

Browse Via Serlas, a quiet stretch in the centre of St. Moritz known for its thoughtfully curated boutiques, elegant storefronts, and timeless charm. Whether you're stopping in for something special or just enjoying a stroll, it's a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

Stop for tea and delicious cake at Hanselmann or glühwein (a traditional mulled wine) at Hauser.
